Good News For WBCPVF, Group-C & Group-D Staffs (Salary Enhancement News)
West Bengal State Assembly election ringing on the door. Days before the Assembly Election official notification, Chief Minister Smt. Mamata Banerjee becomes Santa and open her Rs. 1.500 Cr sops on state workers. The highlights of Mamata's goodies on Contractual Staffs (Group-C ,Group-D, West Bengal Civik Volunteer Force-WBCPVF & others) showing below
1. 30 days Paternity leaves for men in state offices or aided agencies till their kids turns 18 years old.
2. Contracts for Civic Cops (Civik Police/Volunteer -CPVF) ,Volunteers ,Contractual & Casual employees ,falling in Group-C & Group D, will not be ended till they turn 60. their salaries will hike 3% a year and retirement benefits will be Rs. 2 lacks after retirement
3. Health Insurance Swasthya Sathi for unorganized sectors staffer and family with health cover Rs.1.5 lacks a year
4. Sanskrit University in Nabadwip (Nadia District)
5. Cop Station at Rabindra Sarovar

Swasthya Sathi insurance scheme available for Contractual employees ,including CPVF (West Bengal Civic Volunteer Force knownly as Civik Police,  Disaster management workers, Civil Defence Volunteer-Home Guard, Health Workers, Self Help Groups-SHG, ICDS Workers, National Volunteer Force-NVF members. The scheme which will benefit about 80 lacks employees in the unorganized sector with families , will provide basic health cover upto Rs.1.5 lacks per annum and there will be no cap on the family size .
